How i would change my study program

If i had the opportunity to change my study program i would probably start by modifying the EFB credits necessaries to get a degree in journalism. I would do this because i think that sixteen credits is a lot considering that one EFB course is justo two or three credits. In my opinion, if less credits were required in these courses there would be more subjects related particularly to journalism or film, which would help more to develop the skills of the students in each career. Also, i consider that journalism lasts too much as a career. I think if there were a better organization in the curriculum of the career, this would last three or four years, but there are a lot of courses that are not necessary to our formation as a future journalist, like the theoretical ones such as Imagen y sociedad  or Teoria de la imagen, among others. In terms of the infrastructure, i consider that our faculty doesn't have as much audiovisual equipments as required for journalism and film, and pretty ...

Time Travel

If i had the chance to time travel anywhere in time i would probably go to the past. Especificly, i would like to go back to 2001 so i can go to the Estadio Nacional to see Los Prisionero s in, what is for me, their best concert ever. Also, i would like to travel to that year because i think in the early 2000´s there were a lot of good cultural products in the country. Bands like Los Bunkers or movies like Taxi para Tres were cultural hits in that time period, and i think that shows that, in general, it was a good time for the culture in Chile.  However, i don´t think i would stay in that time. Mainly because i don´t like to live from the nostalgia of the 2000´s, and i believe that we should look up to the future more than focus in the past and say that the good times are over, because maybe in the forward years we will have bands as important as Los Prisioneros or movies as good as Taxi para Tres, who knows. The future is unpredictable and i think that´s why it´s a lot  bet...

My future job

I'm currently studying journalism in the School of Journalism and Film in the University of Chile, and I'm in the fourth semester, so i don't think much about my future job, but if i have to choose right now what i would like to do in the future i will say that i would like to work in written media, especially in a big media like The Clinic or a magazine like  Sábado from El Mercurio . I would like to work in these places because I really like to write news or reports for an important media, since in these places my work can be read by a lot of people and i would have a lot of opportunities to work writing amazing stories that may change people's perspective about different things. For this kind of job i'll have to have very good writing skills, since that can allow me to write stories that are more fun to read, and a pretty fast ability to comprehend events and their impact to the country. It'll be hard to acquire these abilities, but i think that i'm capab...

The best concert so far

The best concert i've ever gone to was Ska-p in the race horse track in Santiago. Ska-p is a Spanish band created in 1994 that combines the ska genre with some punk, so they have really good lyrics and a very good rhythm to move to. The band is conformed by eight people, but the main members are Pulpul in the lead voice and the rhythm guitar, Alberto Iriondo in the lead trumpet, Joxemi in the lead guitar and the choirs, and Julio in the bass. Their most famous album -and my favorite, also- is !Que Corra la Voz! from 2002. The concert was meant to be done during 2020, but it was delayed because of the pandemic two times, so it was finally done in April of 2022. I wasn't that excited about the concert at first because since it got delayed for two years my expectations were really low. Also, i was going to go with my sister but at last she couldn't go, so i finally went with my older brother.  When i got to the concert with my brother there was a big line to go inside the race...

Why I want to go to Spain

I would really like to go to Spain, mainly because I like that many cultures can converge there, like the one in the city of Bilbao, which is totally different from the Spanish culture, and also the one in Barcelona. Actually, in this two regions of Spain the people there don`t speak Spanish, they speak Euskera and Catalan, respectively. And I would also like to see the football teams that are from that country, like Real Madrid and Atletico de Madrid.  Although I would like to visit this country, I really don't know much about it. As I said before, I know that there are different regions in Spain and every one of them has a different culture, even some speak other languages. Also, I know that they have a monarchy that has a lot of power in the political decisions that are made there. Lastly, I know that there are a lot of good football teams in Spain, like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico de Madrid, this last football club is my favorite of this country.  In Spain I would ...
